A large number of passersby were attracted to the "transformers" standing on the street corner adjacent to a newly built shopping mall in Fuyang city, East China's Anhui province, Jan 4, 2014. The 12 "transformers" were made of scrap metal from automobiles, motorcycles, plates and steel tubes. The two large steel statues depicting "Bumblebee" and "Sentinel Prime" are as tall as three meters, while the other 10 are about 80 centimeters tall. To make these "transformers" more alive and interesting to people, infrared sensors are installed on their heads, LED lights on their eyes and they can broadcast their voices.
