A Robe for the Rest of Her Life. In the freezing morning moonlight, the nuns are chanting the sutras in the Buddhist hall. They start their cultivation in the early morning when they hear the bell, whether it be in severe winter or hot summer, throughout the four seasons. They pass their lives in the Buddhist temples amid incense offerings, reciting sutras and meditating, gaining first self enlightenment and then passing wisdom to others, practicing self-improvement and altruism.
