A cultural exchange activity, Dialogue Among Civilizations, was held in Beijing on Feb 22. As the first activity of the China-Egypt Cultural Year held in China, the event was designed to let both countries express how they value China-Egypt friendship and their respect for local cultures.

Experts from China and Egypt were invited to share views on the two countries’ ancient calendar and festival traditions. A special exhibition hall was open to display Egyptian antiques and works of art.

Under the theme, several other forums were held in Beijing.
