First winner gets a financial prize of 20,000 Egyptian pounds, two winners in the second place get 10,000 pounds each, five winners in the third place get 3,000 pounds each and 10 winners in the fourth place get 1,000 pounds each. (1 U.S. dollar = 8.88 Egyptian pound)

The designs will be judged by specialists determined by the embassy of China and the winners will be announced in a ceremony marking the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Egypt.

Egypt was the first Arab and African state to establish diplomatic relations with the People's Republic of China in 1965.
