The 9th China International Youth Arts Festival will be held from August 12-27. While the main session will be in Beijing, there will be parallel sessions in nine first-tier cities, including Shanghai, Guangzhou and Jinan. During the festival, 187 carefully-selected stage works and a total of 415 performances will be displayed in various forms: concert, opera, dance, musical play, exhibition, forum and workshop.

This year's festival will welcome more than 5,000 artists from 36 countries and regions across the globe, including China, the United States, Canada, Italy, Australia, Austria, Russia, Belarus, Spain, Czech Republic, Greek, Turkey, Chile, Belgium, Columbia, Peru, Armenia, South Korea, Ukraine, Iran, Britain, Sweden, Germany, France, Estonia, Netherlands, Japan, Argentina, Poland, Bulgaria, Hungary, Uruguay, Israel, Mexico, Taiwan of China, and Hong Kong of China.
