The classical performances which started in July will run until October around Guangzhou, Shanghai, Zhuhai and Beijing.

In July, four performances staged the theatres, including 12 cellists concert of the Berlin Philharmonic hosted at Guangzhou Grand Theater, the Real Group concert hosted at Beijing Tiaoqiao Performing Arts Center and Shanghai Daning Theater, the Sleeping Beauty on Ice at Zhuhai Huafa Grand Theater and Guangzhou Grand Theater, and Shunji Iwai's concert at Beijing Tianqiao Performing Arts Center.

The shows in August and September will offer a magnificent vocal and visual feast. The Broadway musical drama Shrek The Musical, American country music of the 1960s, Mexican Tambuco Percussion Troupe, Lang Lang's piano solo and Sarah Brightman's concert will illuminate the theatres of Guangzhou, Xiamen, Shandong, Gansu, and Qinghai in August.

Then Yang Liping's dance drama Under Siege-The Full Story of Farewell My Concubine, a Canadian modern dance composed by Compagnie Marie Chouinard, and the ballet Sleeping Beauty will highlight at Shanghai Daning Theater, Xiamen Banlam Grand Theater and Beijing Tianqiao Performing Arts Center. The classical performances will end up with the Blue Man Group Show to be held at Guangzhou Grand Theater and Beijing Tianqiao Performing Arts Center.
