Canto pop star Cheung, who started his career after winning a singing contest in 1984, is called a "heavenly king" by his followers. The other "heavenly kings" are Andy Lau, Leon Lai and Aaron Kwok

Between late October and November, Cheung will tour the mainland — Chongqing, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Shanghai and Wuhan — and then stage 23 shows in Hong Kong in December.

In February 2017, he will do six shows in Taipei.
