In order to deepen the intellectual and cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries, strengthen the bonds and mutual learning between peoples and civilizations, promote indepth cooperation, expertise sharing and project collaboration between Chinese and foreign experts and cultural institutions in the field of literature, publishing and translation, the Ministry of Culture of the People’s Republic of China, the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television(SAPPRFT) and the China Writers Association will jointly organize the 2017 Sino-Foreign Literature Translation & Publishing Workshop (thereafter “SFLTP2017 Workshop” in short) in Beijing, China from August 20 to 27, during which period the Opening Ceremony of the 2017 Sino-Foreign Literature Translation & Publishing Workshop (2017 SFLTP Opening) will be held on August 21.

The SFLTP2017 Workshop will be presented by China National Publications Import & Export (Group) Corporation, in partnership with CCTSS (Chinese Culture Translation and Studies Support Network, BLCU). Its wide-ranged theme activities include 2017 SFLTP Opening, 2017 SFLTP workshop visits, BIBF-CCTSS Translators’ Salon and 2017 SFLTP Workshop Closing ceremony and release of outcomes.
