The second part, the Fu (Lucky) Shopping Festival, will be held from Tuesday to Feb 12. Shops hanging lanterns in their windows on a pedestrian street in Copenhagen will distribute Fu (lucky) red envelopes with various coupons for their customers.
The third part of the event includes library activities held by the Beijing delegation. They will organize an activity, Reading Beijing, at the National Library of Denmark, to introduce Chinese culture to the locals. On Feb 7, the delegation will take part in the Choir Day event organized by the library.
On Saturday, the ceremony for Celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the Establishment of China-Denmark Strategic Partnership and Lighten Up Copenhagen will be opened by the Chinese ambassador to Denmark and Danish officials at the Royal Conservatory of Copenhagen's concert hall. At the ceremony, the Happy Chinese New Year Performance will be staged by the Jilin Province Art Troupe.
The event is a part of 2018 Happy Chinese New Year celebrations.
