Song and Dance Ensemble of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region

The Song and Dance Ensemble of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region grew out of Guangxi Provincial Nationalities Song and Dance Ensemble in March 1958. Since its establishment, the Ensemble has created and performed a lot of outstanding plays. For instance, song and dance play Third Sister Liu, dance Love Song of Jiangshui River, Wedding Dance of Yao Nationality, Song of Pulling Timber, On the Way Home from the Mountain, The Jingling Bull Bell in the Morning Mist, and etc. The Ensemble has visited more than 30 countries, such as the US, Japan, France, Thailand, Singapore, the Cote d'loire, Togo, Benin, Cameroon, and Vietnam, as well as Hong Kong and Macao region. And both domestic and international audiences welcomed them warmly.

Its chief artists at present are as the follows: Tang Peizhu, Li Haibin, Wen Guoming, Huang Shuzi, and He Chaoli.
