A calligraphy exhibition jointly organized by Yale University and Shanghai Jiaotong University opened April 15 at the School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, Yale University.
More than 60 pieces of selected calligraphy by Ban Ki-moon, former UN secretary-general, and calligrapher Zhou Bin, Ban's Chinese calligraphy teacher, are featured in the exhibition. Attending the opening ceremony were Li Liyan, cultural counselor at the Chinese Consulate General in New York, Pericles Lewis, Yale University vice-president, along with scholars, teachers and students.
