To present contemporary French art and further promote Sino-French cultural ties, the works of 14 winners and nominated artists of the Marcel Duchamp Prize greeted art lovers in Beijing on Friday.
The exhibit also kicked off this year's Croisements Festival, a series of events celebrating cultural exchange between China and France, on the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries.
The Marcel Duchamp Prize has become one of the most famous and influential national awards in the world since its establishment by the Association for the International Diffusion of French Art in 2000.
