The Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei Symphony Orchestras have partnered to form an art alliance, which aims to promote the development of the classical music scene in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei — or Jingjinji — area.
With the support of Beijing Poly Theatre Management, the art alliance was established in Beijing's Forbidden City Concert Hall on May 14.
Three concerts will be staged on May 24, May 30 and May 31 by musicians from the three symphony orchestras in Beijing, Hengshui and Baoding in Hebei province. As well as concert performances, the art alliance will serve as a platform to offer exchange programs among the musicians.
