Often shortened to taiji, t'ai chi or tai chi in English usage, T'ai chi ch'uan or tàijíquán is an internal Chinese martial art practiced for both its defense training and its health benefits. Chenjiagou was branded as the "Birthplace of tai chi" by Chinese Wushu Association. A small village as it is, there situated lots of kung fu schools and training centers, attracting tai chi fans from different countries and regions.
