As summer heat sweeps across China, lotus flowers bloom with vibrant color and great vitality. The Lotus Garden in Xi Xian New Area of Northwest China's Shaanxi province covers nearly 7 hectares with these aquatic plants. The garden is a natural sanctuary for wildlife and a hot spot for shutterbugs.
