BEIJING -- At the ongoing 26th Beijing International Book Fair, Romania, as a guest of honor, invited more than 20 publishing houses and cultural businesses to exhibit new books and sign copyright agreements.
Romania is also holding over 20 literature, art and copyright trading activities at different places in Beijing.
"This year marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Romania and China, and we will continue to promote people-to-people exchange between the two countries," said Ioan Budura, a Romanian translator who received the Special Book Award of China, the country's top publication prize.
Overseas exhibitors from 95 countries and regions, including 30 countries along the Belt and Road, are taking part in the book fair, which has become a key international book fair and copyright trading platform since its debut in 1986.
