The 2020 National Intangible Cultural Heritage Quyi Week is taking place in Ningbo, East China's Zhejiang province, from Oct 9 to 14. [Photo provided to China Daily]

The opening ceremony was held on Oct 10 at the Ningbo Culture Plaza Grand Theatre, where representative quyi artists from around China gave performances of their regional styles.

This year's Quyi Week is jointly hosted by the intangible cultural heritage department and the art department under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and the Ningbo municipal government.
