On Oct 12, the 15th issue of exhibits was launched. Dozens of participating cartoonists met online to exchange and interact, break through language and space-time barriers, and express support and encouragement to each other.
Shi Yuewen, cultural counselor at the Chinese embassy in Egypt and director of the China Cultural Center in Cairo, attended the event and delivered a speech. He summed up the event and affirmed the active participation of cartoonists from various countries. He said the cartoons played an important role in spreading scientific knowledge and regulating people's emotions during the epidemic.
All participants called for human solidarity in the fight against COVID-19 and expressed their wishes to build a community of human health.
