Dubai, a place characterized by yachts, shopping malls, and skyscrapers, never fails to impress, making it the most visited city in the entire Middle East.
Aside from the glitter and glamour, Dubai also promises sports enthusiasts that it's a city that boosts their heart rate. What delivers on that promise is the Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC), an annual month-long citywide movement celebrating fitness and wellness.
To enhance the profile of DFC in China, the Department of Dubai Tourism and Commerce Marketing (Dubai Tourism) organized a remote fitness event geared towards the press on Nov 25.

Connected through live-streaming, more than 50 Chinese reporters in four Chinese cities – Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Chengdu – competed against each other in an array of fitness and wellness activities including dancing and yoga.
Ali Obaid Al Dhaheri, the UAE ambassador to China, graced the event in person in Beijing and Issam Kazim, chief executive officer of Dubai Corporation for Tourism and Commerce Marketing, attended the event virtually.
