The Sharing China - Happy Chinese New Year Contest 2020 concluded its final review on Oct 28 and recently unveiled its winning entries.
Launched on Jan 13, the contest calls for photography works that are themed on Spring Festival culture and memorable moments from Chinese New Year celebrations overseas.Over 13,000 photos from more than 30 countries and regions were submitted to the organizeruntilFeb 29, the official submission deadline.Many of these photos were of professional quality.
Several rounds of assessments were conducted by a panel of experts, who evaluated the submitted works based on three standards: Value of international communication, theme, and photography skill. The jury finally selected 10 first prize collections (groups), 30 second prize collections (groups), and 60 third prize collections (groups). They will be included in the Ministry of Culture and Tourism's publicity material and may be used in the ministry's cultural activities or cultural products, such as exhibitions, publications, posters and photo album designs.

Hosted by the bureau of International Exchange and Cooperation and the ministry of Culture and Tourism of China, the event was organized by the Center of International Cultural Exchange, Chinadaily.com.cn and Chinaculture.org.
Chinaculture.org successfully held its first “Just Share It - Happy Chinese New Year” global online photo contest in 2015. This year, the contest concluded its sixth session with great impact and positive response.
