Michał Ciesielski, composer and jazz pianist from Gdańsk, Poland, will perform at Jianghu Bar, a popular live house venue tucked away in a hutong in downtown Beijing on Sunday. Since 2018, the pianist has been teaching at the Beijing Contemporary Music Academy and has been giving performances in the capital.
He Xiao, a virtuoso viola da gamba player, will share the stage with his musician friends. Born in Beijing, he started to learn to play the cello at age 5. He graduated from the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing and gained his master's degree from Zurich University of the Arts.

The live show is a part of the event, Lullaby for Grown-ups, presented by Stallion Era, a Beijing-based company promoting indie musicians and organizing live music performances.
On Friday, Jiaba, a Yi ethnic group singer-songwriter, will give a concert at Jianghu Bar, featuring his original hits.
On Saturday, Dan Taylor, leading vocalist of rock band The Harridans, will perform with Honey Comedy, a Beijing-based talk show group, at Cloud Nine, a live music bar in Beijing.
