Introduction
The China Cultural Center in Malta was established based on the agreement reached by the presidents of both countries during the then President Jiang Zemin's visit to Malta in July, 2001, the first announced to be built in Europ. It was inaugurated on September 19, 2003. The center is located in a century-old building in Valletta, the capital of Malta.
Facilities
The six-story building is equipped with an information service office, library, electronic reading room, dance studio, audio-visual classroom, language classroom, exhibition hall and a multifunction office which can hold over 70 people.
Functions
The center hosts a series of cultural activities including performances, exhibitions, lectures and seminars, Chinese are, Chinese language program, Chinese martial arts, training of traditional Chinese medicine, film screening and other festival activities.
