Narrator Chu Yan describes her creative journey reproducing clothing from the Tang Dynasty Silk Road based upon ancient works of art such as figurines, and murals from the Mogao Caves at Dunhuang. Meticulously researched, and using natural dyes and traditional silk materials and processes, the results are beautiful recreations that give us a glimpse back in time to the lives of people from long ago.
