Contemporary visual art specialist Simon Kirby will be in conversation with founders of Beijing's Zhuan Zhuan Hui collectors' society Michael Lai and Karin Chenglin. They will be joined by a group of important Chinese collectors who are actively repatriating valuable Chinese cultural artefacts to their place of origin. Rare Song Dynasty porcelain pieces and important Ming Dynasty devotional Buddhist sculpture will be on display as part of this special discussion.

This is an opportunity to meet influential art collectors, to examine precious objects from their collections at close quarters and to try to understand why special objects or works of art can come to have so much meaning to those who own them.
