Buying skirts
(wǒ xiǎng mǎi tiáo qún zi, shāo wēi zhèng shì diǎn de, píng shí yě néng chuān, shàng bān yě néng chuān de nà zhǒng. wǒ mén gōng sī zhǐ yǒu zhōu wǔ cái ràng chuān xiūu xián zhuāng, suǒ yǐ wǒ yì bān mǎi de yī fú dōu shì piān zhèng zhuāng de.)
I'd like to buy a skirt, a little formal so that i can wear it both to work and off work. You know our company only allows us to wear casual clothes on Friday, so I usually buy formal outifts.
(nà biān yǒu yì xiē zhèng zhuāng de pǐn pái zhuān guì, zán mēn qù kàn kàn ba. wǒ jué dé nǐ chuān zǐ sè de tè bié hǎo kàn, chèn dé pí fū bái bái de.)
There are some formal clothes over there. Let’s go and have a look. I think purple is good on you. You look fairer in purple.
(Kě shì wǒ bù xǐ huān zǐ sè de, wǒ xǐ huān huáng sè de.)
But I don't like purple. I like yellow.
(huáng sè tài yàn le ba?)
Isn't yellow too bright?
(dāng zhèng zhuāng chuān bù hǎo.)
It doesn't look formal.
