Prayer flag changing ceremony observed in Lhasa

Photo taken on Feb. 26, 2014 shows the poles with new prayer flags at Jokhang Temple in Lhasa, capital of southwest China's Tibet autonomous region. The prayer flags tied to five long poles around Jokhang Temple were changed for new ones in Lhasa on Wednesday. Thousands of Tibetan Buddhism believers tied their prayer flags to the poles to pray for a prosperous new year. [Xinhua/Chogo]
