'I am from Xinjiang'

2014-04-17 11:02:29

(People's Daily Online)

My name is Abdurusul Abdurehim. I am from Xinjiang. My ethnicity is Uygur, and I am 36 years old. I work in Uygur language channel of Central People’s Radio as an editor and announcer; my audiences love my voice and my program. I also host some events or weddings at invitation. My job is to broadcast news using Uygur language. After work, I also do some Uyghur language translation work for charity events. I love my job; I hope my audiences, especially people from Xinjiang can know more stories about life of Uygur people in the inland. Now I am doing a broadcasting program to introduce Uygur workers, and hope to make this program better this year. My son is growing up in Beijing. I hope he could be the backbone of society, and master our ethnic language and culture. (Photo/ Kurbanjan Abdusamat)
