Designer Sander Wassink displays his shoe creations. Sander is an artist and designer who encourages others to reconsider their ideas of beauty and aesthetic values. He turns his attention to the discarded, the abandoned, and the left over, and reimagines what can be done with what is already partially formed. He is able to discover new possibilities that exist in the surfaces and materials that are half-built or half-destroyed. Whether his work is a partly demolished facade of an abandoned building, or the everyday detritus from an over productive culture, Wassink asks what new forms and new visions of beauty already exist that can be discovered and appreciated.
