Chinese Suzhou Ori Animation Co. Ltd and Russian RSW Group will jointly shoot animated films. Representatives held a signing ceremony on Oct 9 in Moscow. Zhang Zhonghua, cultural counselor of Chinese Embassy to Russia and director of the China Culture Center in Moscow, attended the ceremony and made a speech.

According to the contract, both sides will cooperate to write the script based on the history of China and Russia and share copyright revenue according to the proportion of investment. It is the first time China and Russia have cooperated in animated film production and it marks both sides have made big strides in cultural creative industry cooperation.
The China Culture Center in Moscow has been committed to supporting China and Russia to cooperate and communicate in different ways. In 2013 the Chinese Ministry of Culture and Chinese Embassy to Moscow jointly held an animation exhibition which helped to build a strategic partnership between animation companies from both sides and reached a transaction volume of 470 million yuan (or 2.7 billion rubles). This year, the Chinese game group, the Perfect World and China Cultural Center in Moscow jointly held a press conference to launch a new game,Xiao Ao Jiang Hu.
