Ministry of Culture will launch a pilot project —"Spring Rain Project – A travel of National Cultural Volunteers to Border Areas” (hereinafter referred to as “A travel to Border Areas ").

Starting from July this year, cultural volunteers from all over the country will rush to Tibet and Xinjiang, providing a wealth of cultural services to the masses in border areas through vary forms, such as performances, lectures and exhibitions.
From June 27 to 28, the Department of Social and Cultural Affairs of Ministry of Culture held Matchmaking Symposium in Chongqing for cultural sectors of Tibet and Xinjiang and that of some provinces and municipalities. Starting from July this year, cultural volunteers from all over the country will rush to Tibet and Xinjiang, providing a wealth of cultural services to the masses on border areas through vary forms, such as performances, lectures and exhibitions.
