Another exhibition called Good Wishes in the Year of the Dragon - Exhibition of Loong Culture was held in Qiqihar Museum on Jan 13.

The most amazing work is a giant blue kite made of silk with a 30-meter-long flying dragon on it. The silk kite is 13 meters long and 6 meters wide.

In addition, a set of furniture, including benches, a tea table, screen and other items, with Loong patterns, appeals to the audience

“My animal year is the year of the Dragon and I am pushing 61,” said an elderly woman, “The exhibition is very inspiring. I am going to live on with the spirit of Loong, try to do something meaningful and make myself happy as well.”

Another fine piece of work is the one suspended in mid air called Two Dragons Frolicking with a Pearl. It makes the exhibition hall fell alive.

More than 500 masterpieces of calligraphy on both paper and ceramics written by distinguished Chinese calligrapher Zhang Wanqing were on display. A lot of visitors hold the same opinion, saying that the exhibition is extraordinary and it is never easy to write the Chinese character “Loong”.
