The final contest of the 2014 Cultural China-The Chinese Artistic and Cultural Talent Competition for Global Chinese, will be held in Shenzhen from Nov 8 to Dec 12. This competition was co-hosted by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of The State Council, Chinese Dancers Association and Overseas Chinese Town Co., Ltd. Forty-one dancing groups from more than 20 countries and regions, including the United States, Germany, Australia, Malaysia and the Philippines will attend the final round.

To promote Chinese folk dance abroad, the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office established the Chinese Artistic and Cultural Talent Training Class in 2002. The class has graduated over 1,500 overseas Chinese from 60 countries.
