A Chinese photo exhibition, la Splendeur de la Chine, opens at Chinese Culture Center in Paris on Saturday night to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the official establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France.

The exhibition, organized by China Artistic Photography Society, showcased of more than 60 photos on  China's splendid landscapes, cultural relics, and life in China.

Through different angle of view, photographers recorded the development and changes of China in their works.

When addressing at the opening ceremony, Yang Yuanxing, chairman of China Artistic Photography Society, said that France is a country that has a long history and boasts enchanting scenery and it also has strong influences in the field of art and culture around the world.

He hoped that French people will know more about China through this exhibition.

The exhibition will last till Nov 28, 2014.
