A renewed me: my renewed sense of China

I have new faith in the importance of personal contacts from attending “Jasmine Fragrance Brings Spring to the Philippines: A Cultural Experience” presentation-performance by the Fujian Normal University Art Ensemble. I continue to expand my knowledge of China through CCTV International. I am an advocate of Sino-Filipino friendships by conducting self-initiated research, away from Western media biases.

Most importantly, I nurture my ties with the family I found in China. I keep in touch with my friends and my teachers especially when there’s a Chinese holiday being celebrated. Wu Quan and I exchange homecoming visits. He went here to the Philippines in the latter part of 2011 and the early part of 2013. I returned there in China last 2012 and plan to go back this year.

Indeed, the Chinese are really very passionate! They compose the heart of Chinese culture. And they are very instrumental to the renewed me!
