On November 7,Martin Fierro Argentinean Masters Illustrations Exhibitionopened at the Instituto Cervantes in Beijing. The exhibition has since introduced Argentinean literature to Chinese audiences through the display of illustrations while tracing the development of engraving and printing since the beginning of the 20th century along with the progress of several Latin American artistic movements.

Martin Fierro,by Argentinean poet Jose Hernandez, is one of many Latin American classics and well-known throughoutArgentina. The exhibition displays 40 pieces of works from 20 famous Argentinean artists including a copy ofMartin Fierroin old Spanish.
