The Chinese New Year Flower Fair kicked off Saturday in Chinatown of San Francisco to celebrate the upcoming Chinese festival.
The two-day fair provides a festive atmosphere in which local people can purchase their annual lunar New Year flowers and produce while enjoying traditional Chinese dance, music, art and cultural displays.
Each year, the Chinese New Year Flower Fair takes place the weekend before the lunar New Year holiday. With both residents and visitors, attendance at the two day fair is estimated to be about 400,000.
