Shan Jixiang, Director of the Palace Museum, and Elena Gagarina, General Director of the Moscow Kremlin Museums, representing China and Russia respectively, signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Beijing on July 3, 2014. The two sides will make thorough efforts in the exhibition and preservation of cultural relics and future scientific research, symbolizing a greater level of cooperation since 2006.
