The forum was jointly hosted by China’s Ministry of Culture and the government of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region. Forum topics covered the development of cultural industry, the management of museums and libraries and the protection of intangible cultural heritage since its establishment in 2006. This year, the forum focused on the management and practice of the international arts festival.
