Comrade-In-Arm Modern Drama Troupe of the Political Department of Beijing Military Region
The Comrade-In-Arm Modern Drama Troupe the Political Department of Beijing Military Region was previously known as the Resistance Drama Society under the Political Department of the Shanxi-Chahar-Hebei Military Region, which was established in 1937.

During the war period, artists produced high quality plays including Li Guorui, Rong Guangxiu, Do Not Kill Him, Happy to Meet and etc. Since the founding of New China, a number of its plays won prizes in the All-Army Competitions and National Competitions. They include Growing Up in the War, Scholartree Village, Friendship, When Flowers Are Red in the Village, Revolutionary Generations and A Man not Allowed to Be Born. Since 1976, representative works of the Troupe include N. Bethune, Beiping-Tianjin Campaign, Sentry Post, Tough General From the Great City, Wedding and Funeral, Quiet, the North Frontier, Mountain Range, Wohuang Valley, Report From the Hutuo River, Story of Hao's Village and Hot Blood spring; music drama Here Leads to Heaven and etc. They have also won prizes in national and all-Army competitions.

Many talented artists started to play important roles in the Troupe. 'They include Ding Li, Hou Jinting, Fu Ke, Liu Jia, Du Feng, Zhong Dianfei, Wang Yang, Gao Hong, Hu Peng, Tian Hua, Li Yan, Che Yi, Lin Wei, Wei Min, Shi Liang, Zhang Lin, Sun Qipeng, Wang Ying, Jiang Zeshan, Li Jihuang, Yu Xiuchun, Zhang Yi, Zhao Qiming and others. Major artists of the Troupe presently include Zhai Yingchun, Meng Bing, Wang Qun, Wang Haitao, Zhang Yushan, Hu Jing, Liang Bin, Quan Jiefang, Wei Jidan, Qiao Jianhua, Hong Bo, Feng Guoqing, Ren Mei, Wu Qi, Zhang Weidong and others.
