The 20th session of the LA Art Show was held in the South Hall of the Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC) from Jan 14 to 18. Many distinguished celebrities, artists and politicians attended and each day a long queue of visitors waited at the entrance for the show to open.

The works displayed came from over 120 art galleries in 22 countries and regions. The LA Art Show tops the U.S. expos in number of participants, exhibitors and scope.

As a spotlight in the show, China provided art lovers a feast for the eyes by displaying a series of shows on "contemporary Chinese brush drawings". To give visitors a general picture of traditional Chinese painting, masterpieces from 12 top notch painters were presented at the show and were well-received among the visitors.
