It has been four years since China made its debut at the LA Art Show in 2011. As China gains momentum in economic performance, many countries are shifting their eyes to China and its culture as well. As the essence of Chinese culture, Chinese brush drawings are gaining increasing international attention. Also, works on Tibetan life and religion also are finding favor in Westerners’ eyes.
Chinese artist Li Guanglin said he has been in the show for three years in a row and an average of a dozen of his paintings find buyers each year. Many foreign collectors are fond of his works, for his paintings touch people’s souls.
