The 2016 China-Japan-South Korea Art Festival opened in Ningbo, a coastal city in Southeast China's Zhejiang province and one of the three 2016 Culture Cities of East Asia, on Wednesday. Artists from the three countries tried their best to present their distinctive folk culture that night.
During the seven-day festival, all three countries will showcase their best performances, handwriting and photo exhibitions, creative designs, foods and cultural attractions.
Since it started on April 15, the Ningbo Cultural Campaign has featured various activities throughout the year, with different themes in different seasons. The spring, summer, autumn and winter themes are respectively, "Inheritance", "Bloom", "Harmony" and "Sharing".
