With its sleek cosmopolitan design,’V Sports’ serves as a classy venue catered to the more urbane sports fan. This recent addition to the VICS establishment evokes the stylistic charm of modern sports bars often found in the West.
Soft, dim lighting illuminates a spacious interior replete with modern decor, long tables, and plenty of seating. Numerous flat-screens display the most important sporting events of the day. Billiards and darts offer further distraction for paying customers.
The mixed clientele here is what distinguishes this location from the mostly expat-dominated venues mentioned before. Unlike the overwhelmingly Western Paddy O'Shea's, this place is usually populated by a fair number of Chinese patrons.
Happy Hour is all week from 6:00-9:00 PM,during which a two-for-one deal is offered on glasses of draft beer and wine. A glass of Tsingtao is 40 RMB, while the other drafts cost around 60 RMB on average.
If grungy old-fashioned pubs are not your preference, V Sports should offer a more contemporary and fashionable alternative for the sophisticated crowd.
