| The original Peking Opera Anecdotes in the Year of Jianan was performed at the Baihua Theatre in Jinan, Shandong province on October 16. The play is part of this year’s 10th China Art Festival. The story revolves around Cai Wenji’s happy marriage to Dong Si who is 12 years younger than the heroine, and how this marriage arranged by Cao Cao and his wife has lifted Cai from her sorrow. |
