To Build a Cultural Center in Beijing and a Window of a World City

To prepare for new development, on November 8, 2010, the Third Cultural Festival of National Art Treasures was opened at the Museum of Chinese Art Treasures, with the new cultural integration of the south and the north in the background.

After the success of the last two cultural festivals, the third one served as a link between past and future. Responding to the call of the Beijing municipal government and Dongcheng District people's government, the festival will follow the guiding principle of “Humanistic Beijing” and promoting the construction of the new Dongcheng District.

The theme of the third cultural festival is “meeting in Beijing, inheriting and developing classical culture, and building a world city.”
