Crafts master keen to keep She ethnic group silver crafts alive

Lin Shiyuan, a China Arts and Crafts master, carves part of silver carving "Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival" at a studio in Fu'an, southeast China's Fujian Province, April 16, 2014. Lin Shiyuan is a main inheritor of the She ethnic group silver crafts, which is one project of the national intangible cultural heritages. He established an institute of the She ethnic group silver crafts and an art class of silver carving to inherit and develop the silver crafts. In the course of innovation, he integrated cultures of She ethnic group with traditional silver crafts to keep the She ethnic group silver crafts alive. (Xinhua/Lin Shanchuan)
