The government should make good use of civilian force to advocate multiple ways of protection.

Overall investigations are needed in the protection of intangible cultural heritage, especially in the regions where the local cultures are on the edge of extinction.

The construction rural areas should be in harmony with the protection of intangible cultural heritage. And the government should pay more attention to the legislation of the protection of cultural resources.

Though obviously constraints brought about by development and the push towards better life outcomes for people in the western regions will continue, perhaps at an even faster rate, with attention now increasingly being paid towards their cultural heritage both by the government, tourism agencies and individuals themselves, China’s rich past strives to be preserved for the benefit of future generations.
