On June 1, the Chinese Ambassador Concert held by Chinese ambassador to Indonesia began with the beautiful songs of a well-known tenor Du Jigang.

Nearly 500 envoys and Indonesian celebrities in various fields gathered together to enjoy the excellent performances given by 5 outstanding musicians, Xuan Hong, Du Jigang, Jia Heming, Zhang Hang, Li Yue.

The Chinese ambassador to Indonesia, Zhang Qiyue, claimed that by inviting these 5 musicians to perform for the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, she hoped the concert could further promote the cultural and art communications and the development of strategic partnership between China and Indonesia.

After the concert, the Chairman of Sino-Indonesia Forum, Yu Maifeng, who is an over-80 Chinese, revealed the concert was wonderful and he hoped the ambassador would hold more such high-level art activities in the future.
