In 2009, MOC has successfully sponsored a number of major cultural diplomatic activities, as represented by an evening party commemorating the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Russia, the inauguration of China-DPRK Friendly Year, and a celebration of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the United States. In this way, it has satisfactorily completed tasks assigned by the country and the people, and effectively facilitated major foreign affairs activities of the Party and State leaders.
