A large scale burial area was discovered lately at a construction site in Xinzheng city of Central China's Henan province.

So far, a total of 56 ancient tombs with some pottery and stoneware have been unearthed by archaeologists from the city's cultural relics bureau.

Judging from structure of the tombs and cultural relics unearthed, experts said that those ancient tombs belonged to the late Warring States Period (475-221 BC).
